Chennai Airport Gives Its Canine Community a Paw-sitive Identity

PFA Tambaram, in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Chennai International Airport, hosted a heartwarming event to name the community dogs living within the airport premises.
We were honoured to have Mr. Kaushik, Senior VP of ZEE 5, actor, and producer, as our special guest. The event was also graced by Mr. Devdulal Chowdhury, GM - Operations, along with other senior officials from the airport.
The airport staff enthusiastically participated in the naming ceremony, which was followed by a deworming drive for the dogs.
This small step for the voiceless marks a giant leap toward compassion and care. The airport community dogs thoroughly enjoyed the affection and attention—they were petted, pampered, and made to feel truly loved ❤️.
They were given reflective collars and from today they will not be addressed as stray - rather they will be called by their respective names🥰- Kilo, Romeo, Golf, Alpha, Bravo.
